Todd Meyer, NMEH Chairperson, envisioned and chartered the project to establish the collaboration portal. Todd worked with S2Tech to identify the most effective framework, ultimately deciding on the IBM SmartCloud solution. S2Tech worked under Todd’s direction to establish a core team of decision makers, including NMEH participants from the State of Oregon, BerryDunn, Cognosante, and CSG.

Once the solution framework was in place, the core team began reaching out to communities and workgroups to validate the set-up of the portal. The portal was made available to the NMEH community as a whole in August, 2014, at the Medicaid Enterprise Systems Conference (MESC) in Denver, Colorado.

Who can join NMEH?

• Anyone working for a state Medicaid (or related) agency
• Employees of vendors currently working for a state Medicaid (or related) agency
• Any consultant or firm who is interested in NMEH and is willing to contribute to solving the challenges that are inherent to our industry
